I Think, this is the perfect trimmer. It's lightweight, powerful, cordless and requires no gas or pulling to start.

The product arrived with the battery partially charged so I tried it out before setting the battery up to charge fully. It's a great little machine.

Our late trimmer was a gas, 4 cycle monster. I could not start it or carry it. My husband complained about the weight, even with the strap on. Horrible thing. After trying unsucessfully to use the monster gas trimmer, I picked up an inexpensive cordless electric a few years ago. It would barely cut grass and turned out to be totally useless.

I am so in awe of this trimmer that I plan to get other tools that use the same battery and pick up an extra battery. I hate using gas tools and our yard is too large for corded tools.

I haven't had any problem with the replacement weed trimmer. It has almost as much power as a gas trimmer, as other reviewers said. I used it on thick grass under my wrought iron fence where the grass was about 10 inches high. It worked well. So far, I used it about an hour and still had about 25% charge remaining in the battery. The second time I used it there was 50% charge remaining after about 45 minutes. I am pleased with its performance. The battery charged in about two hours when it had 25% charge remaining. The battery moves easily from the charger to the weed trimmer.

I am going to give it five stars because of its performance, including that of Amazon. If Amazon had not sent a replacement so quickly, I would have given it one star.
